I love Paris – no surprise there! I’m typically in Paris a few times a year, for work or pleasure, and thought it was about time to compile a list of some of my favorites. We love to stay in the the gorgeous, charming neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Pres.  It’s perfectly situated to be close to the fun restaurants, cafes and shops of the area. I also love the 2nd Arrondisement for the beautiful luxurious apartments and Eiffel Tower views! I’ve also stayed right by the Palais Royale / Jardin de Tuileries and it’s an amazing central location as well. A few must-visits when you’re in Paris:

Where to Explore

The artsy, hilly neighborhood of Montmarte & Sacré-Coeur

Saint-Germain-des-Pres  neighborhood

Palais Royal

Trocadero Platform at sunrise or in the evenings to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle

Cathedral Notre-Dame (We were actually there last spring for the fire – it was a crazy sight to see. Whenever it opens back up – it’s worth a visit!)

Cathedral Notre-Dame

Rue Cremieux (Rainbow Row, the most charming and photogenic street!)

Tuileries Garden

The Louvre

Jardin de Luxembourg

Shop at Sezane (my favorite!)

Le Maison Rose

Marais neighborhood

Musee d’Orsay for the Impressionist floor alone

Explore the Paris Flea Market

Where to Eat & Drink

Le Maison Rose

Pink Mamma

Cafe de Flore

Cafe Bonaparte

Hemingway Bar at the Ritz

Anywhere in the Latin Quarter

Holybelly Cafe

LouLou for healthy acai bowls

Le Train Bleu

Anywhere on this list

Where to Stay in Paris

I’ve become somewhat obsessed with the best places to stay in Paris. There’s an overwhelming amount of options, but I’ve narrowed it down to the few I’ve stayed in that I personally LOVE and most importantly – have balconies! For me – having a balcony in Paris is just an essential part of experiencing a stay here.

Residence Charles Floquet – the best view of the Eiffel Tower ever, and most beautiful apartment rental.

Hotel Edouard 7

K+K Hôtel Cayré Saint Germain des Prés

Le Bristol Paris

Hotel & Spa Saint-Jacques

Best Western Premier Kapital Opera

Hotel Plaza Athenee

Hotel Le Walt

Hotel Regina Louvre

Le Grand Hôtel de Normandie

Holiday Inn Paris – Notre Dame

Hotel Raphael

Relais Saint Jacques

Shangri-La Hotel, Paris

The Peninsula Paris

Le Petit Belloy Saint-Germain

The Westin Paris – Vendome

Hotel des Saints-Peres – Esprit de France

Hotel Academie

I hope you enjoyed this little taste of Paris, and it can inspire you for a future trip!
